Intrusive gunfire,

ignored by ducks and squirrels,

disturbs my peace.

They may feel no threat,

but someone is under fire,

somewhere, and unsafe.

It conjures anger,

and leaves me wondering if

I should let it go.

Perhaps not before

I can transmute it into

positive action...
